It’s all about Perspective!

The things that you choose to focus on, become your reality!

Most people (Even those who are ‘doing it right’ or avoiding the unsustainable fads diets), are too busy spending their time and energy on obsessing over what they can’t have, or what they “have” to say no to, or the feeling of being deprived in order to reach their goal.

Here’s the thing though – You cannot FEEL deprived until you first THINK you’re deprived.

The language of your conscious mind is your words and your thoughts, while the language of your subconscious mind is what/how you feel.

Your language programs your feelings.

Make sense?

The things that you choose to focus on – Becomes your reality.

Nobody else is making you set goals, or do the work. This is your choice.

So instead of focusing on what you’re “missing out” on, try to focus on what you’re gaining:

  • A healthier body
  • A leaner body
  • More self-confidence
  • Self-discipline
  • Energy
  • Empowering yourself to reverse self-limiting beliefs and self-sabotaging choices
  • Looking and feeling as good as you think you should

This list can go on and on.

When you choose to focus on the things that you’re gaining, that becomes your reality!

Motivation

 

Let’s have the “MOTIVATION” conversation shall we?

I often hear from my clients:

“I am struggling with motivation to exercise or prepare my meals.”

Or

“I’m bored with my workouts.”

Or

“I just don’t feel like it.”

How many times have you caught yourself saying or thinking these same things?

We tend to think that feeling motivated is what gets us to our goals

But feelings, such as motivation, come and go.

If you want to see change, you have to do the things, and take the action steps even when you don’t feel like it. Especially when you don’t’ feel like it!

Taking action creates the motivation to keep you going.

If you are feeling motivated, go with it. Ride that wave and enjoy it!

But when it fades (and it will), Take action anyway. By doing so, you will create your own motivation instead of looking to outside sources to fill that gap.
